Task Manager - Enable Logging
NOTE: This is to enable logging on a locally hosted server for the Workamajig application only, not WebDAV.
Logging for Workamajig is a useful tool and can help if you feel there is a concern with some of the Workamajig processes most notably notifications. In order to start the logging process, you must go to the Workamajig Task Manager folder which is located in the Workamajig folder.
- Go to the WMJServiceConfig.exe and open up the GUI.
- Go to the logging tab.
- Select the service you want to log from the dropdown list
- Click Activate
NOTE: Logging for the services will remain active for one week. It will be automatically inactivated at that time.
A confirmation popup screen will be displayed to confirm the service logging has been activated
The logfile will be located in the Task Manager folder. The file name will correspond to the selected service.
As these files can get quite large, you will want to rename and offload the file to a different location.
Additional Notes
- Logging takes up space so remember to delete all files when you are finished.
