Task Manager - Registration Key Update
If you need to update the registration key because you are changing the number of users or there is an error please do the following:
NOTE: If your computer/server name is changed, please email support@workamajig.com prior to this process. Your Workamajig Server must be able to connect to admin.workamajig.com in order to download the new registration key. If you receive the Exceeded the Stop Working Date error, please try updating your registration key first and then contact support@workamajig.com if you need further assistance.
- Go to the Task Manager Folder located in the Workamajig folder.
- Execute the WMJServiceConfig.exe, and hit Modify.
- Go to the registration tab and hit get registration. Apply to the website and save the settings.
- If the key does not populate please try again, additionally, make sure the new settings were applied to the web config.
- If the problem persists please contact support@workamajig.com.
SAML Considerations
- If you are presently utilizing SAML with a Non-URL Prefix, please remember to include it in the Non-URL Prefix field; otherwise, the prefix will be deleted from the web config, causing SAML to cease operating. If you are not using a Non-URL Prefix please remember to add an x to the Non-URL Prefix field; otherwise, the prefix will be deleted from the web config, causing SAML to cease operating.
- If the key does not populate, please try again, and ensure that the updated settings have been applied to the web configuration. Additionally, if you are preventing external access, please remember to whitelist our admin server IP address. If you do not, you will be unable to update your key (please refer to the help guide for a list of server IP addresses).
- NOTE: Please save your current key just in case there is a problem with the new key.
