Other
Views
There is no definition for a listing report as most all listing screens that return data can be modified into a custom listing for your reporting needs.
For example:
If you go to Search > Views > Projects. This doubles as a list of projects, as well as a customizable report for top-level project data.
Custom reports
Custom reports are defined as a clipboard icon with a black top.
Custom report datasets are only available to full administrators when you first start with Workamajig. Access to use them is done from Security Group Settings. However, you can give people access to view a custom report you make without giving them access to create a new report.
NOTE: The fields available in all custom report datasets do not follow security group rights that would otherwise prevent the user from seeing that type of data.
- By default, custom reports will appear in the Other report group.
Report logo and font type/size
Check out the Visual appearance guide on how to create and use a company logo for all reports you PDF from Workamajig. You can also adjust the font type and size for all reports in this setup screen as well.
Delete a custom report or view
In order to delete a custom report or listing, you must have the security right to Modify Custom Reports and or Custom Listings.
1) Click Modify
2) Click Delete Layout/Report
3) Confirm deletion
By doing this, you are not deleting any data from the system. You are only removing a report.
NOTE: There is no Undo. You will need to recreate the Report/Listing, if it was inadvertently deleted.
