LABS - Custom System Colors

NOTES:
- This LAB will be part of the August update for Workamjig.
- The default Accent is now set to #8249FC. To set this back to the classic blue link text, you can enter #0A97D5 as the Accent.
Application Colors
This enables you to change key colors in the application, like the app bar, side menu, background, and light and dark modes.
NOTES:
- This LAB is not meant to be enabled for a single user, as it will be a system-wide setting once fully released.
- Background images do not apply at this time. Look for a future update on this.
- Display Themes is being deprecated in favor of more UI customization.
Enable Lab
Navigate to System Setup > Account Information> Wormamajig Labs.
Then click Enable for Custom System Colors.
Refresh your browser.
Security Settings
We added a new security right called:
Change the visual appearance at the user level
When enabled, this allows users to modify the application colors from their user profile.
NOTE: If you are a full Administrator, you can always edit from your user profile regardless.
System Setup
To begin this setup, you will first need to navigate to System Setup> Visual Appearance.
From here, scroll down to the Application Colors section.
Background: Color Picker/Hex Code selector. This controls the overall background element of the UI, which is behind all the other menus and windows.
App Bar: Color Picker/Hex Code selector. This controls the top-most bar on the UI where your name and notifications appear.
Main Menu: Color Picker/Hex Code selector. This controls the left navigation menu.
Accent: Color Picker/Hex Code selector. This controls the HyperText font color and other highlights.
NOTE: To set this back to the old blue link text, you can enter #0A97D5 as the accent.
Appearance Mode: Light, Dark, Custom (a gradient-locked slider to maintain font legability). This controls the overall tone of the active windows you interact with.

User Setup
If you have the rights to "Change the visual appearance at the user level", you can override the system defaults for yourself.
To do this, first click on your User Profile in the upper right and edit the Default Settings.
Then scroll down to Application Colors and adjust as desired.
Save.

Electric Arcade
This loud, high-contrast palette evokes glowing neon signs and classic arcade cabinets:
- Background: Hot Magenta = #ff2aa3
- App Bar: Electric Cyan = #00f5ff
- Main Menu: Bright Violet = #7b2cff
- Accent: Neon Yellow = #ffe600
- Appearance Mode: Dark
Sunset Terracotta
Warm, earthy, and calm — like a desert evening:
- Background: Clay Sand = #e8c9a3
- App Bar: Burnt Sienna = #c1502e
- Main Menu: Deep Terracotta = #8a3324
- Accent: Golden Ochre = #e8a13d
- Appearance Mode: Light
Deep Ocean
Moody and focused, like bioluminescence in dark water:
- Background: Midnight Navy = #0a1f2e
- App Bar: Teal Depths = #0f5e6c
- Main Menu: Kelp Green = #1b3a2f
- Accent: Bioluminescent Aqua = #4dffe0
- Appearance Mode: Custom = 50%
Spring Meadow
Fresh, light, and airy — good for a bright, low-fatigue daytime feel:
- Background: Soft Cream = #faf6ec
- App Bar: Meadow Green = #7cb342
- Main Menu: Sage Moss = #4b6043
- Accent: Poppy Red = #e8552e
- Appearance Mode: Custom = 25%
Retro Sunset Diner
70s-inspired warmth with a nostalgic, cozy feel:
- Background: Faded Cream = #f2e2c4
- App Bar: Mustard Gold = #d69a2d
- Main Menu: Rust Brown = #7a3b2e
- Accent: Turquoise Pop = #2ea9a1
- Appearance Mode: Custom = 0% or 100%
Cotton Candy Pastel
Soft, playful, and gentle on the eyes — a friendly, low-intensity option:
- Background: Blush Pink = #fbe4ef
- App Bar: Lavender Mist = #c9b6e4
- Main Menu: = Periwinkle = #8f9fdc
- Accent: Mint Sherbet = #a3e8d0
- Appearance Mode: Custom = 75%
Moody Blues
A recreation of the old Display Theme.
- Background: Moody Grey = #E8EAEE
- App Bar: Moody Blues = #3D4D75
- Main Menu: = Moody Blues = #3D4D75
- Accent: Moody Blues = #3D4D75
- Appearance Mode: Custom = 60%
