LABS - Persistent Timer Widget – Workamajig

Have you wished you could start a timer at any time, on any page, while in Workamajig? Well, as of the July update, now you can with our Persistent Timer Widget that is currently in Labs for testing.

What's New!

We added a Lab to try out a new persistent timer that always appears in the bottom left of your screen. No matter what page you are currently on.

Once enabled, this widget will sit in the bottom right.

Single Timer

Tap the run button to start a timer.

You can pause the timer as well.

And then resume.

Multiple Timers

You can start multiple timers from the toggle.

And control which one is actively running by tapping on the run/pause button.

Notice how each timer is given a #number.

Enter details

Tap on the active timer from the expanded list. This will open the Edit Timer screen to fill in the project, task, service, and comments.

Notice how the details fill in the timer widget after Save.

Completing a Timer

Tap the Stop icon at the right end 9of the timer row.

This will clear the row from the timer widget and open a Time panel to verify the results.

Click Save, and you are done.

NOTE: If you click the X and choose not to save, the timer is lost and cannot be restored.

Enabling Labs

You can enable Labs for the company or as an individual.

Company

Navigate to Menu > Admin Manager > System Setup > Account Information > Workjamajig Labs.

Look for Persistent Timer Widget and toggle on Enable.

Individual

NOTE: To enable Labs as an individual, you either need to be an Administrator or have the security group right "Allow a person to enable labs just for themselves".

Click on your Profile in the upper right of the toolbar.

Click on the ... three dots and choose Manage My Labs from the drop-down list.
