Strata sync - sending StrataLink log files to Workamajig [in-depth guide]
1) Create a folder on your desktop, name it for the problem estimate EST1234, for example
2) Open Strata Citrix window>Windows File Explorer
3) Strata>Workamajig>StrataLink>Logs
4) The Logs folder will be organized by the most recent date modified. Workamajig will provide a specific timeframe of dates that need to be pulled.
a. Click/select the top file and scroll down to the last file for the requested timeframe
b. Chose SHIFT on your keyboard and click/select the last file needed
c. On Mac: Use Cmd+ C, On Win: Use Ctrl+C on your keyboard to copy the selected items
d. On the left select the Computer>C: drive of your computer and an appropriate folder. For your desktop select C://Users/(your name)/Desktop
e. On Mac: Use Cmd+V: On Win Use Ctrl+V on your keyboard to Paste the selected items into the selected folder
f. You can now view the files on your machine. Please zip/compress the files before sending to Workamajig
NOTE: For Mac users, you will need to drag the logfiles to your mac drive's desktop folder on the drive navigation on the left side of the explorer window.
This will then copy the log files to your mac drive so that you can then email to support@workamajig.com.
