Managing conversations [in-depth guide]
From the Global Search>Views>Sales: Conversation>Activity View screen, you are able to view all of the activities in the system. It is recommended that your company defines a few subjects related to the project and sales, to ease the search for the activity across the system. Ex. A project activity may be a sent proposal. In this case, I can create a listing that would show me all of the sent proposal activities, who created them, and when they were completed.
Reporting
Menu > Salesperson > Today Sales
If you are looking for a printable list of the activities assigned to you or others, it is best to use the Activities View. Go to menu > Salesperson>Today-Sales>Views: Conversations for the entire library of activities you have access to view. From the left side panel, you can modify and narrow down your search. When you are ready to print, you can select either PDF or Excel from the top left corner of the listing. This listing is also a good resource to turn to when searching for an activity from the past, especially, if you cannot remember what records the activity was linked to. Take note of the standard listing options already available to you here, by scrolling through the dropdown menu at the top-middle portion of the Activities listing.
NOTE: You can also create your own custom report views of this data as well.
Today-XX
The quickest and best way to track the open activities assigned to you is to view them on your Today page under the Conversations tab. The conversations will display the non-completed activities assigned to you in a selected order based on the activity date. The activity can be opened to complete them.
To create a new conversation, you can use the + icon located in the top right corner of the screen. From some Today pages, you will also be able to use the + icon>Conversation.
