Opportunity stages allow you to create a sales funnel to track your different opportunities and determine which state in the sales process they are currently at.
NOTE: The probability percentage plays a key role in some calculations, like in revenue forecasts.
Opportunity stages
To add a new stage, click .
Stage - Enter a descriptive name for this opportunity stage.
Display order - once the stage is created, the display order is based upon the order seen on the screen. drag/drop the stage to the correct location
Default probability - Enter the percent probability for this stage. If zero, the probability set on the opportunity will be used and not updated when changed to this stage.
Display on dashboard - This determines if opportunities in this stage will show on the Sales dashboard.
Use default probability - Forces the probability on the opportunity to change to this stage's default probability when put into this stage.
