This guide will show you how to setup and preview the client portal as your client logins will see it.
In order to allow initial access for your client logins, you will need to update Transaction preference to first enable this.
Menu > Admin/Manager > System Setup > Transaction Preferences > Client Portal
From here populate the drop-down where it reads Default Security Group. For new instances of Workamajig, simply choose Clients.
Setup Client Login
From the Clients Contact Record, click on Contact Settings.
To allow a Client to login as a free user, you will need to go to the Security Controls and then populate a User ID, Password, and Security Group. NOTE: Do NOT uncheck Free Login as this will them a paid user in your system and give them wider access.
From there you are then responsible in giving your Clients the User ID, Password and URL to login with.
Preview Client Portal
From any Contact record, click on More > Preview Client Portal.
You will then be presented with a live view of what this client login would see.
Client Portal Settings
To adjust what the client logins can see and access, click on Settings from the top of the Preview page.
NOTE: When the client logs in, they will not see the Settings button.
