Workamajig allows you to separate out Employees, Projects and project file access using office. This can be useful when reporting on chargeability and project profitability reports and controlling access to your file storage server. Offices will flow through to the general ledger when posting transactions. You can also set up Workamajig to change the project number prefix by the office.
Add an Office
- Click
to add a new office.
Office ID: required - enter id to identify this office in the system. Many locations will use the ID when selecting the office
Office Name: enter the descriptive name for the office.
Active: checked by default - determines if the office can be selected on transactions. If unchecked after it has been used, the office will still be available for reporting purposes.
Address: allows you to set the default address to use for the office. Available addresses are setup via System Setup>Account Information>Address Information
Project Number Prefix: used only if Project Numbering is set to use Office - enter the preferred prefix to use for project numbering
Next Project Number: used only if project numbering is set to use Office - enter the next project number. This will ratchet up after each project is created
Culture: allows you to select a default culture for the office. This will default the culture to new employees when added to the office via the employee record. This setting overrides the default culture setup via System Setup>Account Information: Visual Appearance.
Daily Project Reschedule: allows you to set the time when projects are rescheduled. This setting will override the default overnight refresh cycle that is performed on each Workamajig server.
WebDAV Server: allows you to determine the WebDAV server folder that is available for the office
