When we create a project in Workamajig and copy from a template, it's gonna naturally bring in a project schedule for us to get started with. Keep in mind, scheduling in Workamajig is very scalable. You certainly don't have to have a great deal of detail in a project scheduled to use the system well. Some of our projects might be very quick to turn and only have two or three bucket tests, and that's perfectly okay. Other projects might have a little bit more breakdown, like the one I'm using. As you can see, I've got a couple of different phases and different steps in each of those phases. So basically my template is bringing in my process. What steps does it take to do this type of project? Now my template is also very fully featured in the next section you're going to see in the significant section. So in my template, I make sure that I know what types of roles do I typically need to facilitate these tasks along the way and approximately how much time do I need for those? So giving me a little bit more information about our process of not just what are the steps, but who's involved in those steps? Role-wise, how much time do we need for them? And then we definitely need to know our timeline. So how much time duration-wise do we need to facilitate these tasks along the way? Each of these can also have dependencies established. So if I'm making changes because remember, a template coming in is really just a starting point. I can change this schedule now as much as I need or want to to make sure that it handles the project at hand. Duration change is really simple to do if I need less time if I need more time. Either way, my schedule is adjusting because of those workflow dependencies that I have established all the way down at the template. So they're ready to go with each new project as a natural default for all of our projects, schedules in Workamajig will skip weekends for planning purposes. You can always override that if you ever need to. But keep in mind that many times when we worked on the weekend, we probably didn't plan to. On top of that, there are holidays that come about so in Workamajig there's a company calendar, and that company calendar you can apply any of your company recognized holidays. Those days are gonna feed into our project schedules as non-working days, making sure that we don't accidentally plan for work to happen for projects to be due on days we're not planning on working. Again, all of those defaults can be overridden if we ever need to. But they're set his defaults to ensure that we don't accidentally plan to work on days that were not really planning on working, keeping this schedule and making sure that as we work through the process, we could be updating not only manually but as people start updating their tasks are actual dates are gonna naturally populate, keeping the project rolling simply by people updating their own assignments. The project schedule is very flexible to be quite simple or quite robust, just depending on the length of your projects and the different types of projects that you do
