Tracking Overtime Hours
Normally, any time entry is tracked in the system as a regular hour of time entry. The billing rate is based upon the project setting: Get Labor Rate From. The labor net amount for the time entry is calculated based upon the Hourly Cost field setup on the Employee record. For Hourly employees this setting does not take into account the higher net hourly cost incurred due to work that is considered overtime.
Workamajig now allows you to setup and track Overtime hours for both payroll and project costing reporting.
