The Workamajig desktop provides a customizable location to access and view assignments, projects, and financial information contained in the system. The desktop contains the menu button, navigation buttons, and the desktop. Administrators can define how much control the individual users will have over their desktops based on security groups. You can also define what is the initial settings for the desktops. Workamajig has already set up these core settings for you based on the typical agency roles.

Main menu navigation
The menu button
- located in the top left corner, allows you to navigate to all areas of Workamajig. The available options are set via the security group settings, so what you see may be different.
The bell icon allows the user to see notifications in the system, such as Items to approve, messages, credit cards to review or unsubmitted time
Allows you to set up contact and login information
- Global search-Allows you to search for items within your Workamajig permissions
- Recent-Up to the last 20 items you were last viewing will appear here for easy access back to that page
- Views-These are "listing screens" which allow the user quick navigation to listing data of various kinds based on security right permissions
There are many + signs in Workamajig. A + sign indicates this is where you can create something new in Workamajig.
By clicking on your name, it will bring you to the "My Settings" area, where there are options for customization. Click on the blue pen in the section you would like to update.
