Designates the company as a Client. If checked, a Client ID is required.
Alphanumeric field. No special characters are allowed. Though it can be larger, try to keep the size to less than 8 characters.
Designates company as an overhead client.
Is A Parent Company
Designates company as a Parent Company.
If this is a child company, select a parent company by beginning to type the name in the box. NOTE: Parent: Child relationship can only be 1 level deep. A parent can have many children, but a child can have only one parent.
Allows you do designate a different company name on Estimates and Invoices. Default: blank.
Select appropriate address from the drop-down to be used for Billing.
Billing Defaults Section
Next Campaign ID/Number
Based on Transaction Preference setting. Allows you to define the next number for this clients campaign.
Next Project Number
The default method is to use the Next Global Number, which does not use this option. However, if you change it to Next Number From Client, then this number will be used instead for this client.
Default Sales Tax 1/2
Designate the appropriate Sales Tax Rates.
Default Sales Account
Allow you to set a default Sales account to be used for client invoices. Default: blank.
Designate a layout for printing client invoice. If using Default Layout, leave this blank.

Default Billing Method
Designate a billing method that will flow to projects.
One Invoice Per
Select how an Invoice is generated.

Card Holder Name
Name as it appears on the card.
Credit Card Number
Number as it appears on the card.
NOTE: Only the last 4 digits will be visible after the record is saved.
Expiration date as it appears on the card.
3-digit code on the back of the card.
Project Defaults Section
Only if using GL Company. select GL Company project will be associated with.
Only if using Office. select Office project will be associated with.
Select Account Team that is assigned to this client. Default = blank.
Applies to the use of Billing Worksheets only.
- If left blank (default), the billing worksheets would go to anyone with rights to create invoices for final approval after the Projects designated AE completes their review.
- If populated, it will only go to that specific person for final approval.
Get Labor Rate From
Allows you to set where the project goes to get labor rates.
For more detail on this use of this feature, refer to the Get Labor Rate From guide.
NOTE: Project templates must be set to 'Labor Rates>Get Billing Rate From Client' in order to use this setting.
- Update: allows you to update this setting across Active or All projects and force a recalculate of labor rates.
Used if the project is set to Get Rate From Client AND the client record is set to Get Rate From Client.
Get Markup From
Allows you to set where % markup for all project expenses will come from. Default = Item.

NOTE: Project templates must be set to 'Purchasing Markup>Get Markup From Client' in or to use this setting.
- Update: allows you to update this setting across Active or All projects and force a recalculate of markups.
Prebill Insertions At/Prebill Broadcast At
Allows you to set how to Prebill media orders. This is generally set at the system level via Transaction Preferences. Default = blank.
Divisions and Products
This section is available if you wish to further segment your project-level data for reporting purposes only. These options will appear when creating projects and running reports such as the Project Profit and Loss financial report.
NOTE: The divisions and products you create here are unique to this client only. If you need similar to be available as a mast list for all clients, then this can be done using custom fields. However, custom fields cannot be used in profit and loss reports like divisions and products can.
