Relational Data and Flowchart
This guide is designed to help give users an overview of how transactions flow through the system. Based on system and project setup, through to the actual time and expense transactions, which then get accounted for via invoices which are tracked to the General Ledger for financial reporting.
Example 1
This first example is a table showing the hierarchy of setup, from System to Client, and eventually Project (which is the true determining factor). Then how Time and Expense Entries are based on the previous setup and can then be reported.

Example 2
In this second example, this flow chart depicts how the system flows overall with greater detail than the above table. In essence, how you set up the system and projects, will determine how your users interact with the system. Then from that interaction of time and expense entries would then drive your desktop widgets and financial reports.
