How do I add my company logo to Invoices, Estimates, and other various Printouts/Reports?
Invoice and Estimate Layouts (New WISWIG editor)
- Go to Menu > Admin > System Setup > Time and Billing > Invoice / Estimate Layouts.
- Refer to the Invoice/Estimate Layouts guide for more information.
Invoice or Estimate Templates (Old HTML editor)
- Go to Menu > Admin > Menu > System Setup > Time and Billing > Invoice Templates OR Estimate Templates.
- Choose the Estimate Layout that you wish to update by clicking on the pencil icon.
- From the Layout Editor, choose the Logo tab and upload the image.
- Refer to this guide for Estimates and this guide for Invoices for more information.
Reports
- Go to Menu > Admin > System Setup > Visual Appearance. Scroll to the bottom and upload an image for Printed/Report Logo.
- For this image to fit in the maximum space available, make the image (canvas size) no larger than 1 inch (height) by 4 inches (width).

How do I add a new Workamajig user?
Go to Menu> Admin > Employee > New.
When adding a new employee, make sure to fill out their basic information, time zone, and correct email address. Once you hit Save, you will be able to give the user login and a password, make them active and assign them to a Security Group under the Login tab. Don't forget to also set a Time & Expense approver for that new user under the Billing tab.
Once added, your account with Workamajig will automatically be adjusted for that new user.

How do I set up a Client/Vendor with Free Login access?
Client & Vendor login is free of charge (and unlimited), as long as you do NOT uncheck the "Free Login" option under their login settings.
NOTE: Free users do not have access to the main menu (nor can they enter data into the system such as time or the ability to edit projects), instead they have shortcuts added to the toolbar based on their security group rights.
Here are the steps:
- Setup the security group you want to assign them to (under System Setup > Security Settings), making sure you define the set of rights as "Client Vendor Login Options".
- Open that contact's record under Sales > Contacts and go to the Settings/Login Settings tab.
- For Login Settings enter a User ID and password, select the security group and leave the "Free Login" option checked.
- Give the contact your site's web address and their User ID and Password.

How do I create a Custom Login Page?
Using our sample code, you are able to create a self-branded web page that allows users to log in to Workamajig.

How do I setup HTTPS Access when Workamajig is Local Hosted?
You need to purchase a verified SSL certificate from Geotrack, for example. Then configure your IIS server setup to use that SSL certificate for the Workamajig server.
- For further information please refer to the Microsoft website regarding setting up SSL sites in a Microsoft server environment.
I am not receiving any email notifications...
If you log in to an appX.workamajig.com, please update your mail server spam filters/whitelist to allow email from the following mail servers:
maile.workamajig.com
mailw.workamajig.com
This could also be the cause if you are no longer or never have received Diary email.
If you are on your own server, many times its due to a change of your SMTP server, which needs to have this address updated in the Workamajig Server Tool. Speak with your IT department who manages your server in this scenario.

I do not see my email in the Project Conversations...
- Confirm you have are sending the email to the correct mailbox address.
- Confirm the project number is in the body and surrounded by double square brackets, Ex. [[projectnumber]].
- Confirm the mailbox is set up correctly and you get no errors when you click Verify in Mail Settings.

I am having problems connecting to Workamajig...
We may ask you to perform a Traceroute to verify that you are connecting to our servers.
On a Mac, open the Utilities folder and run the Network Utilities application. Select the Traceroute tab and enter "YourApp#.workamajig.com" in the address. Ex. tracert app2.workamajig.com
Copy and paste the results and e-mail it to support@workamajig.com
On a PC, go to the command line (Run - Command) from the Start button. Then type "tracert YourApp#.workamajig.com" and e-mail us the results of the report. Ex. tracert app2.workamajig.com
take a screenshot of the command window results and email to support@workamajig.com
This will tell us if there are routing problems between your location and our server. Only run this report when you are experiencing performance issues.
