NOTE: It seems that most all banks have stopped using the old OFX standard connection.
However, we have created a new Plaid Connection that works with more banks than the old OFX connector ever did. So if you are experiencing any issues or errors with downloading credit card transactions, please review the Plaid guide and/or email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Here are some websites that offer some insight of which financial institutions allow for Direct Connect of credit card data and what their settings are.
Please note that we do not have control over how the banks manage or update these connections and we do not continually update this information in Workamajig either, we simply have placeholder data in there as a reference.
I received an Error when I try to Test Connection from the GL Account or if I choose the manually Download Transactions from the Connector screen
If this is your first time setting up the GL Account for the Connector feature. Then make sure you are using the correct username and password for each card that you use when you access that cards account online. If you have multiple cards, yet they are tied to one account, then the download feature may not work unless you get each card broken out into its own login, but you will have to work with your Credit Card provider to do that.
If you have been using the connector without issue prior, and now you are getting errors down the road, then most typically there is an issue with the OFX service on the credit card side of things. Simply wait a few hour or days and try again.
However depending on the error received, this should give you more clarity if this is simply an unavailable service or if there is an incorrect login supplied.
Feel free to do a web search based on the error you receive.

We have been in contact with Bank of America Support, and they no longer allow for Direct Connections to their OFX site.
