Project Manager > Today project manager page [guide]
The project manager's today page will keep you on top of all those moving parts in your projects. From here you can view the daily feed, conversations, view project-related reports, quickly add project-related items, and see what you have on your plate for today.

Open items: Contains items in your projects that are open and need to be addressed such as purchase orders, project requests, and estimates awaiting approval.
Items needing attention: This will keep you on top of important items that may need some attention such as projects with a schedule or budget warnings, or tasks that you have been assigned to.
- NOTE: Open items and items needing attention only present data relating to projects for which you are the account manager and/or the project manager (if Show Project Manager in Transaction Preferences is enabled). To see this type of data for all projects, you will want to explore the views section to make a report that looks at all data regardless of the account manager or project manager.
Views: This allows you to access various reports on project-related data. These reports can be modified to filter what you are looking for.
Conversations: This allows you to set reminders and communicate with other users in the system.
Daily feed: Keeps you updated when things have changed with your project(s).
Date: This allows you to change the focus of the page, so you can see a prior day's daily feed.
New + Record: Clicking the plus sign + is your path to creating new records, such as a project.
More: Menu that contains further features and settings.
Enter your time today: Quick access to your time sheet.
Today's schedule: Quick access to your calendar and displays your meetings and time entered for the day.
Open items/items needing attention
These sections alert you of Items related to projects for which you are the account manager or project manager (if Show Project Manager is enabled in Transaction Preferences).
To view these types of items across all projects, then you will want to use the Views section to run a report.
From More > System Setup, you can choose what items you want to receive alerts for.
If one of these items appear on your today page, then you can click on the alert to open a list of the matching items and even click on each from there to open for further review.
The projects tab is unique. It includes any unread conversation and replies to conversations on any project where you are on the team.
- By clicking on "Mark everything as read", all current project conversations will disappear from this view.
On all the other tabs (i.e. Open), the conversation has to be assigned to you.
- Open is any uncompleted conversation regardless of the date
- Today is any uncompleted conversation with an activity date of today
- This Week is any uncompleted conversation with an activity date for this week.
- Unread is any uncompleted conversation with a new reply.
- Favorite is any conversation you have marked as favorite.
This section displays all of the actions/transactions that have occurred today on projects where you are the account manager.
Some of the things that display here are time entered, task completed, and file uploaded. Etc.
You can use the date picker in the upper right of the Today page to change what dates data displays in the daily feed.
This section contains all the high-level reports that a project manager would need.
Adding new records
As a project manager, you still need to enter time to tasks on projects you work on for the day. Typically you would be assigned to a single task that is not necessarily part of the creative timeline and/or is a standalone/ongoing task in the schedule. In this case, you should enable the display setting in the timesheet called default projects from assignments, so that your timesheet populates with all of your task assignments.
You have the choice of entering time via your task assignments or from the timesheet.
From the Items Needing Attention, there is a link to My Tasks, which opens the Today Creative page on top of your current view.
This is for users who are assigned to tasks in the schedule. For more on this, please refer to the Today - Creatives guide.
If you need to manually track your time, then you can select enter your time for today on the upper right corner of your Today page.
If you have not entered any time for the day, you'll see an option to Enter your time for the day.
Once your time has been entered for the day, you will see the Time Entered Today.
Clicking on the link will open up your timesheet view.
For more info on using the timesheet, please review the Timesheets guide.
Viewing your calendar
