If you are a typical creative using WMJ classic your default desktop might look similar to this desktop layout.  Task Management, Time Entry, Weather, Reminders, Meetings, and The Daily Feed from Projects.

In Platinum, the same information is right there as well but laid out in a slightly different way.  Task Management, with three options, Task Card, seen here, Grid View which is similar to the My Task Widget, and Tile View a new option that uses Kanban type cards and columns in conjunction with resource management tools.  Time Entry, Notes/Reminders, Meetings, the Daily Feed from projects, and we brought the weather too.

In Platinum, the same information is right there as well but laid out in a slightly different way. Open Items, Items Needing Attention, Views, Time Entry, Notes/Reminders, Meetings, the Daily Feed from projects, and the weather.  Active Projects have their own screen in platinum.

In Platinum, the same information is right there as well but laid out in a slightly different way.  Open Items, Incoming Charges, Invoice Approvals, Expense Reports to Invoice, Meetings, Time Entry, Daily Feed, Conversations, and the Weather.  You can scroll down to see Payments, Checks to Print and Views.

If you are a typical Accounting Manager, CPA, Bookkeeper, or Controller using WMJ classic your default desktop might look similar to this desktop layout.  Meetings, Notes/Reminders, Items to Approve, Revenue By AM, Billable Efficiency, Cash On Hand, Revenue Trends, and chargeability Charts

In Platinum, the same information is right there as well but laid out in a slightly different way.  Items Needing Attention, Account Balances, Conversations, Daily Feed. Meetings, Chargeability Percentages, and Summary along with Revenue Trends.  You can scroll down to see Financial Reports and Views.

To adjust the width of a column on screen in classic you first need to position your mouse along the edge of a column header until the cursor changes to a left-right arrow, then you left click and drag the column left and right to shrink and grow the column width.

In classic, the desktop utilizes the WMJ toolbar to manage multiple objects that are opened at the same time.  For example, if you have a list of invoices on the screen you can double click the invoice line and open a new object on the toolbar that can be brought to the desktop by clicking on it.

In Platinum, the browser is utilized to manage multiple objects that are opened at the same time.  For example, if you have a list of invoices on the screen you can CTRL + Left Click (PC) or COMMAND + Left Click (MAC) the invoice line to open a new object in a browser TAB that can be dragged and dropped onto the screen.

In classic, you can open the main menu to navigate to a new area while at the same time have a list of purchase orders in view and make an update to the contact record in the system. You also have access to any objects on the toolbar.

In Platinum you have access to the TABs in the browser instead of the toolbar, you can also have the today purchasing screen open and navigate to a TAB on the browser, click the global search icon on the toolbar to open a list of all the views in your system, or click the + button to create a new object if needed all while making an edit to the salutation of a contact in the system.

In classic, you select the line and click the icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

In Platinum, you select the line and click the four arrows icon at the left edge of the line item.
